If anything, the latest saga in the "The Life of David" Sermon Series has shown us the devastating destruction sin leaves behind. King David's decision has destroyed families and literally taken lives away. Psalm 51 showed us the heart of David to return to God and get back to the purpose the Father has for Him. However, just because we repent doesn't relieve us of the consequences of our sin. Nevertheless, David desires to deal with all of the dysfunction and damage. Though sin devastates, we see David reflect "The Heart of the Father" when showing how God reacts to our rebellion.
