As lead pastor, Jay is working to see that FBCGF is actively fulfilling the Great Commission and creating a culture of discipleship. He has been senior pastor since January 2018. Jay graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005 and is a 2001 graduate of East Carolina University.

Luke joined our staff in October 2025. He is originally from Marion, NC but comes to us from Lynchburg, VA where he attended Liberty University and received his BS in Pastoral Leadership along with a Master of Divinity.

Phyllis and her family have attended FBCGF for a while and she has always been actively involved in leading our "Granite Kids" ministry. We officially welcomed her to our staff in 2024.

Melanie works hard to make sure all runs smoothly at our church! She is great managing the ministries and finances that make our mission effective! Melanie has been on the FBCGF team since June 2015. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University.
