Finding Our Identity with the Son of God

Jesus' baptism and temptation are familiar events in the beginning of the gospels. This week in Mark 1:9-13 we find John the Baptist baptizing Jesus which shows us how the Father confirms Jesus as the Son of God! Immediately following His baptism, Jesus is led into the wilderness and tempted by the devil. What does this mean for us as believers? We confirm our identity in Christ through our baptism but also find ourselves quickly trusting in the Lord as we fight through the temptations. This leads us on to spiritual maturity as we are "Finding Our Identity with the Son of God".
