Experiencing the Fullness of Heaven | Mark 12:18-27

Heaven is a popular topic! Much has been written on the topic in secular and religious circles. We generally focus on heaven when we are exposed to things like death or tragic situations. Heaven isn't an afterthought but a strategically created place by God for His people. In Mark 12:18-27, we find (once again) Jesus encountering the religious leaders, more specifically, the Sadducees. This group of religious aristocrats try to prove Jesus' teaching on the resurrection and afterlife to be an absurdity. However, Jesus promptly corrects their bad theology with foundational truth found in the Scriptures and in the reality of God Himself! The desire we should have for eternity shouldn't be merely for golden streets and fluffy clouds. Jesus should be the goal of our desires if we want to be "Experiencing the Fullness of Heaven"!
